Why did you join Berkeley?
I joined Berkeley in 2020, following a number of years at a small marketing company within the Arts & Culture sector. Having covered areas of Operations, HR and Finance in my previous role, I was looking to focus on and further my career in Finance. When the opportunity to join Berkeley arose, I knew the knowledge I would gain working alongside experienced colleagues, in an industry entirely new to me, meant it was not one to be missed.

What’s been your favourite piece of work and why?
Although I can’t pinpoint one particular piece of work as my favourite, one of the things I have found most rewarding during my time here is working as part of a Finance team. At every step of the way the team have been supportive and inclusive, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to draw from colleagues with such a wealth of knowledge and experience. Being able to contribute (in very small part) to the continuous development and improvement of systems and reporting within the department has been an invaluable experience for me.
3 What might people be interested in knowing about you?
I studied Printed Textile Design at University, so my decision to work towards a career in Finance can be considered a little…intriguing. However, as is often not widely recognised, numbers and calculations can feature quite heavily in print design, and a bit of creative thinking always helps with problem solving!
