1 What do you like most about Berkeley?

The thing I love most about Berkeley is the people. It's inspiring to work alongside such a talented group. Everyone here is sharp, driven, and passionate about their work.  But what truly makes Berkeley special is the positive and supportive atmosphere. We challenge each other to excel, celebrate one another's successes, and genuinely care about each other's well-being. This sense of camaraderie extends to our clients. Seeing the Berkeley team go above and beyond to understand client needs and deliver exceptional results is something I find truly motivating. It's a privilege to be part of a team that values both top-notch work and genuine human connection.

2What’s the most important thing you've learned in your career so far?

The most valuable lesson I've learned in my career is the power of adaptability. The business landscape is constantly evolving, and the ability to adjust and embrace change is crucial for success. Early on, I discovered that clinging to rigid methods can hinder progress. By staying flexible and open to new approaches, I've found myself better equipped to tackle unforeseen challenges and deliver optimal solutions for clients.

This adaptability extends to communication as well. Actively listening to and understanding the evolving needs of both clients and colleagues is essential. It allows me to effectively bridge the gap between them, ensuring everyone is aligned and working towards the same goals. Throughout my career, I've witnessed firsthand how clear and open communication fosters a collaborative environment where everyone feels empowered to contribute their best thinking. This sense of teamwork is what ultimately leads to the most successful outcomes.

3Why did you choose your career?

My career in consulting wasn’t planned. It started with a simple truth: I love a good challenge. Figuring out solutions to complex problems is what gets me going, and that interest wasn't limited to one specific area.  Whether it was a website replatform, operating model design, or backend transformation, I was always drawn to the puzzle of it all.

This desire to explore different problems and solutions led me to a career that values continuous learning and applying knowledge in new ways. Here at Berkeley, that's exactly what I get to do. Every project brings a fresh set of challenges, and the variety keeps things exciting. I enjoy diving into different industries, understanding their unique needs, and then working alongside clients to craft solutions that make a real difference. It's a constantly evolving path, and I'm looking forward to where it leads next.
