1 What's different about Berkeley for you?
The holistic approach that Berkeley takes when working with clients is something I feel truly sets us apart from the rest. At Berkeley, each team member has a genuine passion for ensuring everyone we come into contact with when working for our clients understands our thought process and how to apply this in their role. The experience across our team is also a real strong point, backed up by the quality of work we deliver. Many of our clients naturally expect this of us, demonstrated by over 90% of our work coming from repeat business and referrals.
2 What types of work projects excite you the most?
The early stages of conversations with prospective clients are an exciting time for me. A lot of work goes into ensuring the people we contact are relevant to our work, and we genuinely believe we can assist them.
Once we have an initial conversation, the excitement continues throughout the conversations around a potential piece of work. It is great to see our insight and suggestions resonate with potential clients when discussing a crucial challenge they are facing.
3 Why did you choose your career?
I love speaking to people. From early on in my career Business Development has been something I have been passionate about and as time goes by, this only grows stronger. My current role allows me the freedom to have open and constructive dialogue with prospective clients and identify opportunities for Berkeley to assist with any challenges they face.
I am also passionate about relationship management. This can include existing clients we have worked with for years, or prospective clients we have only had brief conversations with, but either way, I have a genuine interest in learning more about each of their roles and the organisations they work for.
